What is that black music box in both russian roulette and bad romance music video?

Alright i was watching the music video for Rhianna's new song Russian Roulette and i noticed that at about 18 seconds to 20 seconds into the music video there is a black box which is exactly identical to the one in Lady Gaga's Music Video Bad Romance. I was wondering if they were advertising some sort of product or if any of you know what that product is?
