Computer Virus Protection (which web sites are bad?)?

My computer had a major virus on it recently, a worm. (Scans found W32.trats, trojan vundo, tracker cookie). We had a guy fix it and it works perfectly now. I'm never going to download anything from limewire again, since that's where the virus came from; however, I was told to Never get on myspace.com again either, as computers get infected so easily by vistiting that site. Should I really never get on myspace again? So many people have myspace accounts! What other sites should I avoid at all costs to prevent a virus? How about freebie game sites, such as this Gaia Online?
